Today was one of those days you just want to stay inside next to the fire with a good book! We were hit with a small ice storm this afternoon. However, it turned out to be one of the most relaxing days I've had in months! My husband got to come home early. So, the boys played board games with him. I did some much needed baking. It's been almost a month since I've baked bread or any sweets. The store bread is just not the same. I had forgotten how bland it is. There is nothing like the smell of fresh bread baking in the oven. mmmm!As an added bonus, we finally got to make our Valentine cupcakes. It's only a week late. The kids didn't mind, they enjoyed mixing their icing with different food coloring to get different colors.
